The perfect gift for a cheese lover, this charming verse and illustration showing mice and men feasting on blocks of cheese is taken from a 1901 Thanksgiving menu in Boston, Massachusetts.
Created for a dinner given by the New England Rubber Clubbe, the entire menu is superbly illustrated, course by course. At the top of the menu is the phrase Lett Goode Digestion Waite on Appetyte. A copy of the full menu comes with the cheese print.
The artist is unknown.
